Within TMS all logistics operations result immediately in financial bookings, both for billing and for cost sharing among the various cost centers and cost units. Because all actions performed on finished orders are already conducted in an earlier stage of the process, the invoicing process is simplified enormously. All costs and revenues are registered at the lowest level in the system, thus providing the basis for comprehensive management information facilities.
