A clear order-entry screen allows you to easily create transport orders. Orders can be delivered through various media. Besides manual processing of transport orders that are transmitted by phone or fax notification, it is possible to use Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). When using this EDI functionality orders are automatically available to the user.
This ordering data will form the basis for all processes such as planning, billing and reporting in TMS. While entering a transportation contract, already defined basic data can be retrieved. Depending on your specific procedures and authorizations your employees are able to complete or change the data in the TMS.
You can control the workflow within the departments of your organization by acknowledging an administrative shipment status and a plan status to each assignment. The return of an order can be determined immediately. It is also possible to select the correct rate automatically out of the valid tariff agreements. When creating transport orders the accompanying documentation can also be printed automatically.
