Over the past 15 years iFacto has taken more than 300 SME to the next level by analyzing, optimizing and computerizing their business processes. Managing Partner Steven Arrazola de Onate: “In 2018 we achieved a record revenue of 10 million euros. This year we also celebrate our 15th anniversary and I’m very pleased with our long-term partnerships of Varo, Katoen Nation, Accent Group, Filliers,  … “. iFacto focuses especially on the wholesale and distribution, food-, production- and services companies by implementing ERP software based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, NAV or AX. In these sectors iFacto is the Belgian market leader.   Steven: “Walk the talk is our statement. Creating added value, building good customer relationship and yielding within time and budget are the fundamentals to our customers. They can rely on a team of good educated and experienced consultants. In a meanwhile we this team has 70 employees. Past year iFacto welcomed 10 new employees and is still searching for new enthusiastic  members. Steven: ,,This year We also got nominated for Trends Gazelle, which is a nice reward to everybody in the organization.’’ For the coming years iFacto is expecting a lot of growth potential.  iFacto would like to realize a growth of 50% and anchor on west-Flemish ground. To realize that we opened a new office in Kortrijk. Steven continues: ,,Opening a new office is a strategic choice to extend our business in West Flanders, but also a nice to have for our local colleagues. It saves them the long daily rides to our headquarters in Kontich or Hasselt.’’ ,,And last but not least iFacto wants to realize 33 projects, add 20 new customers and 15 new consultants, developers and project managers. iFacto on Directions Asia convention in Bangkok

Mid-March the Microsoft Dynamics NAV partners met at the Directions Asia convention that took place in Bangkok (Thailand). Directions brought all Dynamics NAV experts worldwide together to exchange new product information and exercise in workshops. Also this year two iFacto specialists and Microsoft MVP’s (Most Valuable Professional) Luc Van Dyck and Eric Wauters were in. The hot topic of this convention was the launch of Microsoft’s new solution, NAV in the cloud: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This year 375 experts of 132 Dynamics NAV partners, coming out of 32 countries participated to this 2-day event where 50 lecturers gave 10 workshops and 33 sessions. Eric Wauters as well was able to lecture two workshops and two sessions, about the new development environment of this ERP-solution. Later this year on the agenda: Directions EMEA and USA. These conventions will take place respectively in The Hague and San Diego. Obviously, iFacto will also participate to this new info share- and network events. So we can well inform and advise our customers of the latest developments.

The 7th edition of NAV TechDays took place in Kinepolis Antwerp from 14 to 17 November. NAV TechDays is a conference for NAV developers that offers technical workshops and sessions related to Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The event is yearly organized by one of our own Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs): Luc Van Dyck. As is customary every year, a team of iFacto’s technical consultants also attended NAV TechDays to keep their knowledge of the technical developments of Microsoft Dynamics NAV up to date. iFacto invests in knowledge of its employees and strives to maximally support and service you on the technical level as well. NAV TechDays 2017 was a great edition with no less than 1236 participants from 44 countries and a comprehensive program consisting of highly relevant workshops and sessions. This year, Eric Wauters, our other MVP, also gave a presentation and 2 workshops.

iFacto at Directions EMEA 2017 in Madrid

From 4 to 6 October, Microsoft Dynamics NAV partners from all over Europe met at Directions EMEA in Madrid. Directions is the yearly summit for NAV partners where Microsoft presents its Dynamics NAV Roadmap and the new NAV version. At this edition, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 and the new Dynamics 365 version were on the agenda.  An iFacto team also attended Directions to gain as much new product and technical knowledge as possible and share it with all iFacto employees. This way we stay informed on the latest developments on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and can properly inform and advise you. Moreover, iFacto applies this new knowledge in the light of continuous innovation of its solutions. This year more than 2000 people from more than 600 Dynamics partners from 53 countries participated in the event that offered 225 sessions and 25 workshops. Eric Wauters, our Development Manager and Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional), gave six presentations.

A new customer case about Distri+ has been added to our references: Better sales performance and customer service with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Distri+ at Goodwill. The distributor of Christmas decoration, Goodwill, has a very specific business process because of the peak season. During 9 months of the year, Goodwill works with a virtual stock to register orders that are also not yet billable. The company was looking for an integrated ERP solution enabling in the first place more efficient and correct sales over the various channels. Thanks to Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Distri+, Goodwill now shows a more efficient customer service and better sales performance. On 20 April, Sana held a lunch session on efficiently managing an online product catalogue with Sana Commerce complemented with the Product Information Management (PIM) system Perfion. iFacto and some of its customers also attended the sessions about Perfion, the customer case Locinox and the self-service order portal of Sana Commerce. Challenges addressed in the sessions: You have a large online product catalogue, but the products are not highly ranked in the search results. You have difficulties in modifying prices and product descriptions on all your channels. You know exactly what product information your customers need, but correctly positioning it online is hard. During the lunch session experts and specialists in B2B e-commerce and PIM have shared their visions and stories on this subject. The afternoon ended with a visit to the Liefmans brewery and a beer tasting.

This year Directions, the yearly conference for regional Microsoft Dynamics NAV partners, was organized in Asia for the first time. On 23 and 24 March the Microsoft Dynamics NAV event, which took place in Bangkok, hosted 400 Asian NAV partners who could attend 35 sessions and 9 workshops given by the best NAV experts from Microsoft, other NAV partners and Microsoft MVPs (Most Valuable Professionals). Eric Wauters, one of our iFacto MVPs, gave three workshops: ‘Extensions’, ‘Bad Habits of NAV Developers’ en ‘Building Extensions with Powershell’. He attended a workshop on ‘SaaSification’ (Software as a Service) himself, as well as one about the new development environment for the next Microsoft Dynamics NAV version. He will now pass this knowledge on to other developers during internal trainings. This way the technical team of iFacto stays up-to-date with NAV 2017 and prepares itself for the future.

The NAV TechDays took place in Kinepolis Antwerp from 15 to 18 November. This year’s delegation from iFacto was greater than ever. Our other MVP, Eric Wauters, also gave 2 presentations and 1 workshop. iFacto at Directions in Prague

Directions, the biggest yearly conference for Microsoft Dynamics Partners, took place in Prague from 12 to 14 October. This year 1754 people from 588 NAV partners participated in the event. Participants could attend at least 150 sessions and 25 workshops, meet representatives from 60 companies, who presented their solutions in sessions and at an exposition. iFacto was also present with a six-member delegation, one of whom was Eric Wauters, one of our own MVPs, who also gave three presentations. iFacto went to Directions to gain as much new product and technical knowledge and the needed knowhow to efficiently position Dynamics NAV. Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 was introduced and officially released on 24 October. More news about this will follow soon. Moreover, the brand new Dynamics 365 solution was introduced to the European market. The date of the Belgian release is yet unknown. In any case, iFacto will follow the developments on this very closely and keep everyone up to date, as soon as more information is available.
