SI Foodware: ERP software for food companies

SI Foodware is added functionality for production and trading companies in the food industry. The functionality is added to the standard Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP software. With SI Foodware you can streamline your business processes and you satisfy the specific requirements of a food company.

Match your supply chain with your customer requirements

Manage your entire logistics chain with SI Foodware: from purchase requirement up to and including delivery at the customer and financial settlement. SI Foodware perfectly matches the needs of your food company: monitoring of THT on delivery, FEFO processing, batch blocking, certificates on delivery, etc.

Use the comprehensive CRM possibilities with which you satisfy the increasingly demanding customer requirements. Ensure fast order intakes by working with customer ranges, phone and dispatch days, order advice and/or EDI. Our integrated solution enables to follow up tight planning and deadlines. Optimize your stocks and delivery times with Material Resource Planning (MRP).

SI Foodware also allows you to provide your products with customer-specific packaging and labelling, along with the management of the delivery conditions such as SSCC. With RF scanning you reduce your error margins and raise the speed of your warehouse movements. The flow of empties (including pallets, drums, etc.) is also under control with coordination with your transport management.

Your quality management is interwoven in your processes

With the SI Foodware quality modules your quality management is fully interwoven in your business processes. SI Foodware enables tracking & tracing your batches along the whole chain, from supplier to customer and from customer to supplier.

Monitor your quality system (BRC, HACCP, IFS, ISO9002, ISO22000, etc.) by means including controls, calibrations and complaint management. Follow the THT, nutritional values, allergens, etc. of your products at any time.

You can also automatically have your labelling information, ingredient declaration, nutritional values, etc. directly taken from the packaging and product specifications.

Build upon solid production support and planning

SI Foodware is suitable for both Make-to-Order and Make-to-Stock businesses while taking account of the needs of your food company. Choose thorough production monitoring or simplified assembly functionality. With SI Foodware you have the tools at hand to streamline and fine-tune your production process.

The result is optimum customer service thanks to high delivery reliability for the promised orders. Always work with the right parts list version when managing your recipes. Plan your production based on historical sales, forecasts and orders.

You can optimize production by reducing setting times to the extent possible in line with the production requirements (MPS). With the shop floor application you also have real-time knowledge of consumption and output.

Working together on a goal-oriented implementation

iFacto brings together its experience of implementation processes for over 300 companies. Our implementation process is based on proven methods, while being fine-tuned to match your situation. Our project approach guarantees good preparation and close monitoring of the different project stages, the project plan, the timing and the budget by our project managers.

Diagnostic investigation

During the sales process iFacto starts with a diagnostic investigation in which we set out the requirements and desires of the customer before translating this into a demo for the standard application. A first budget estimate is made based on this information.

Business process analysis

We then set out the business processes. The BPA describes the processes, the implementation decisions and possible adaptations and will serve as blueprint for your course of implementation.

Installation and set-up

The implementation process starts during the installation and setup phase. After a kickoff meeting the software is installed and your system is set up.

Detail system set-up

We further elaborate the basis created in the installation and setup phase during system detailing. Here the consultant and the customer together further fine-tune and parameterise the system. A first pilot conversion takes place. The customer starts the first constituent tests and documents the work instructions. This phase closes with a simulation with all key users becoming familiar with the processes.

Deployment phase

The training takes place in the deployment phase, along with the user acceptance tests and final conversion. The project team releases the project before the Go-live milestone is reached.

Operational phase

You can also call upon our consultants with the start-up if needed. You will then be further supported by the support team.
