Working together on a goal-oriented implementation

iFacto brings together its experience of implementation processes for over 300 companies. Our implementation process is based on proven methods, while being fine-tuned to match your situation. Our project approach guarantees good preparation and close monitoring of the different project stages, the project plan, the timing and the budget by our project managers.

Diagnostic investigation

During the sales process iFacto starts with a diagnostic investigation in which we set out the requirements and desires of the customer before translating this into a demo for the standard application. A first budget estimate is made based on this information.

Business process analysis

We then set out the business processes. The BPA describes the processes, the implementation decisions and possible adaptations and will serve as blueprint for your course of implementation.

Installation and set-up

The implementation process starts during the installation and setup phase. After a kickoff meeting the software is installed and your system is set up.

Detail system set-up

We further elaborate the basis created in the installation and setup phase during system detailing. Here the consultant and the customer together further fine-tune and parameterise the system. A first pilot conversion takes place. The customer starts the first constituent tests and documents the work instructions. This phase closes with a simulation with all key users becoming familiar with the processes.

Deployment phase

The training takes place in the deployment phase, along with the user acceptance tests and final conversion. The project team releases the project before the Go-live milestone is reached.

Operational phase

The 7th edition of NAV TechDays took place in Kinepolis Antwerp from 14 to 17 November. NAV TechDays is a conference for NAV developers that offers technical workshops and sessions related to Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The event is yearly organized by one of our own Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs): Luc Van Dyck. As is customary every year, a team of iFacto’s technical consultants also attended NAV TechDays to keep their knowledge of the technical developments of Microsoft Dynamics NAV up to date. iFacto invests in knowledge of its employees and strives to maximally support and service you on the technical level as well. NAV TechDays 2017 was a great edition with no less than 1236 participants from 44 countries and a comprehensive program consisting of highly relevant workshops and sessions. This year, Eric Wauters, our other MVP, also gave a presentation and 2 workshops.

iFacto at Directions EMEA 2017 in Madrid

From 4 to 6 October, Microsoft Dynamics NAV partners from all over Europe met at Directions EMEA in Madrid. Directions is the yearly summit for NAV partners where Microsoft presents its Dynamics NAV Roadmap and the new NAV version. At this edition, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 and the new Dynamics 365 version were on the agenda.  An iFacto team also attended Directions to gain as much new product and technical knowledge as possible and share it with all iFacto employees. This way we stay informed on the latest developments on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and can properly inform and advise you. Moreover, iFacto applies this new knowledge in the light of continuous innovation of its solutions. This year more than 2000 people from more than 600 Dynamics partners from 53 countries participated in the event that offered 225 sessions and 25 workshops. Eric Wauters, our Development Manager and Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional), gave six presentations.
